Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

My husband and I need prayers as we deal with our son, who struggles with identity and does not believe in God. We need strength this month as we are going to have a conversation with him about how this not only affects him, but also our family. Please pray that our son will see God's truth, have the strength to fight the enemy's lies, and choose to follow God.

Pray for my friend who isn’t married and got pregnant. She had broken up with the father, who isn’t saved, and was trying to stay away from him, but as soon as she got pregnant she went back to him. Pray that God would open her eyes to her sin. Also, she hasn’t been to church in about a year. Pray she would see the need to be there.

Please pray for my wellbeing. Sometimes I feel like I want to give up on everything, like no one cares for me or even knows I exist. I still care for my ex, even though he has a drinking problem and anger issues and hasn’t tried to contact me in several months.

Please join with me in praying for Sarah Koontz, who continues to bless us beyond words. Please also pray for all those who struggle with fibromyalgia and autoimmune disorders; we go and go and go, and we need to remember that it's OK to be still when we need to.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
