Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Please for my marriage to be restored. My husband left and became depressed, and started abusing alcohol and drugs since his father passed on. His mother is no help and has been intervening, and manipulating in our marriage. I am fighting a Jezebel spirit in my marriage. Please pray that my husband come back home and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray that his mother back off our marriage.

Please pray for my dad. He has struggled with alcoholism and trying to quit for so long now. My mom has stood faithfully by him but is slowly losing hope that he will change for good and I am afraid she will leave him soon. He tries so hard to stay clean but always fails. I’ve came to the conclusion that an addiction is a demon. My dad has always been one of the most kind- hearted, caring and loving people you will ever meet. He has always loved his family unconditionally, but for some reason this addiction/demon will not let go of him for good. I appreciate you taking the time to pray for him.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
