Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

To bloom where I’m planted. And to be truly grateful; not just practice gratitude.

I live w an elderly parent and am the primary caretaker. This required a job change; therefore, substantial loss of income. Now my finances are in dire straits.

I see this as a dead end and struggle to see any upside. Others say I’ll look back on this and be grateful for the time that I’ve had w my parent. I KNOW that’s true but I could use your prayers in the meantime.

I am convinced that My husband is an alcoholic in a deep state of denial. I do not drink, in contrary. As a Christ follower, I began drawing healthy boundaries to protect myself. For example, when our adult step sons are visiting, no alcohol is offered.

Imagine my shock when my husband took his wedding band off and informed me that he will seek attorney appointment the next day.

I want my marriage to return to its course of godliness. I know that I am doing the right thing. God is telling me to stay and do nothing."Just Pray" HIS voice says. "The Battle is not yours, but MINE"

I lost my wife of 30 years a little over 10 years ago to cancer. I really was angry with God and wondered why he would take such a good woman. I turn 60 this year and wonder why I'm still around. I live alone with my best friend, my little dog Brutus. I struggle to make it through each day, I wish God could share with me what he wants me to do. I don't want to die alone, I've been alone so long now I don't know what to do anymore I really want to make amends with the lord, and find a reason why I'm still here. There are so many people in the world worse off than me and I feel lucky for what little I have. My first prayer request is to help all of us that have so much pain and hardship in their lives, and I guess I would like to be included in your thoughts. God bless you.

My husband & I are currently separated, but he has filed papers with a lawyer to start a divorce. Please pray for our hearts to towards each other and our marriage. God has shown up multiple times to show me He is for this marriage and divorce is not what He wants. It just feels so real now and now I'm questioning if He wants me to continue to stand for the marriage or walk away.

I've been through 4 major neck surgeries since 1996. Last one was in 2014. I found out on 6/30 I've got to have another one because the Doctor made a mistake and left a herniated disc in and now because it's at the base of my brain this time it's going to be another major one. I trust God completely but I don't understand!! It took me a year to get over the last one. God I don't know what tomorrow holds but I do know you hold me. Please pray for my husband. He needs God and he needs delivered of habits that are causing problems on our marriage.

God bless.

I posted earlier of my neighbor having bladder problems and back pain. The tests came back and he has metastatic cancer and they are going to find out if he has cancer in his lower back where he is hurting real bad. The pain is so severe that the pain pills given him do not work. So I need you to pray with me for comfort and that the pain will go away and that he will hear and see that the Lord is with him and hears Him. May we lay him at the Lord feet for healing just as the friends did on the roof. Thank you again for your prayer and may the Lord keep his loving arms around you and your families always.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
