Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

I need some prayers. I have an anger issue and it’s ruining me and the people around me. I was doing well for a bit and it came out again. I continue to pray and seek advice from the Lord.

Please pray for my father. He is in need of a medical healing. He was put on a ventilator today because he had difficulty breathing. I pray that God clears his lungs and all illness in his body and restore his health. I pray that these difficult days are short ones and that he is up and about within days.

Every time I open my mouth, my foot goes in it. Every job I've had, I've never been fired because of the work. I've been fired because of my interpersonal relationships with customers, coworkers, etc. I just can't understand people. I am praying to keep my job so I can support myself.

I have to make the choice between two operations neither of which is optimal. Please help me pray for guidance to choose the right one. If I choose wrongly, I will be left in crippling pain for the rest of my life. This could possibly happen either way. I'm too young to suffer for years on end. My condition is worsening because I can't make a decision. Also, the doctor's mistake put me here, how do I forgive? Pray for my husband I'm not who he married. He is taking time off work to look after me. But this can't go on I'm frightened if the operation leaves me in too much pain. God, please help everyone with mesh injuries, their lives are unbearable. Please give me a sign of what to do, please make it a clear sign which way do you think is the best.

I need to lose weight about 35 pounds, I take care of my 91-year mother, and I need to be more healthy. Another prayer request is I want to go to church but can not leave my mother. She is at the point that she depends on me. I do not want my mother to suffer. My prayer is that she falls asleep and wakes up in heaven. That’s my comfort and hers not to suffer but be with JESUS. God is good all the time. I am so thankful you are here for all of us to learn more.

Please pray for my young friend “C.” She just got out of the psychiatric hospital again. She has been raped numerous times. She struggles with addiction due to all the trauma in her life. She loves the Lord and knows the Bible inside out. She feels like Christ might never deliver her from her addictions and mental illness from the trauma.

I have been dealing with chronic dizziness for about a year now. This last week I had a flair up the last several days, and it’s been hard to care for my 16-month daughter, so I need the enhancements of energy and stamina to make it through each day. I ask for prayer over full-body restoration. The dizziness will subside - I specifically ask that I won’t feel dizzy and can enjoy the day with my family celebrating Jesus on Easter. Please pray that my mental and emotional state would stay level and my overthinking worried brain won’t be so triggered by frustration and stress-causing dizzy spells.

Finally, please pray that my possible rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis won’t be sparked - and the joint pain won’t be present this week. Please pray that my organs and blood would refrain from being inflamed and I can remain pain-free. I also selfishly pray that between now and the next round of bloodwork, the rheumatoid factor levels will decrease, and they won’t diagnose me with RA.

Prayers for me as I work my business (side gig) and work my job as a librarian. I feel that I need to put writing back into my life, and I honestly don't see where! Praises that I went 40 days with only 20 minutes of Netflix. Also, for healing: I had surgery almost two weeks ago, and my ear is still numb from the local anesthesia. I have an appointment on Friday with the surgeon. Thanks. I have so enjoyed the Word30 studies.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
