Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Thank you for your prayers regarding my moving situation. I will be moving into my new apartment on October 1; praise the Lord!

I ask your continued prayers regarding my transplant. My sister in Christ Breada will be getting tested as a potential donor; please keep both my family and hers in your prayers.

I ask for your prayers as I enroll in Bible college this semester, and invite you to join me in prayer for the entire Living by Design family.

I’m in Yucaipa, California. The fires are taking over everything. I’m trying to keep everything wet and putting out hot embers around the yard. So much has been lost. This community needs prayer and help.

Help me strengthen this message with your prayers:

Lord, each and every day, remove or render harmless all dangerous viruses from myself, my loved ones, and then from all infected beings and the Earth as a whole, apply this prayer again and again as needed to keep everyone safe, and restore well-being to the afflicted.

I request prayer for my loved one Nahulen. The Enemy is causing him to hate me and say rude things to me. Please pray that he is freed from this evil influence.

I am feeling a lot of fear and panic. I have a legal financial situation that I need to resolve, and I need help to do that successfully and quickly. I keep praying for help and strength, as I want to have positive thoughts and faith that God is with me. But, I admit that I am struggling. The fear creeps back in along with the shame and embarrassment that I am in this situation. I feel alone. Will you please support me and my needs in prayer? Thank you very much.

Update on my July 19 prayer request for my Christian friend: She broke up with her unsaved fiancé. Praise the Lord! He lives next door and his landlord just told him the house is going to be sold. Praise the Lord! She is still struggling with completely breaking away from him. She also hasn’t been to church in months and has a hard time reaching out for prayer, so please join me in praying she realizes how important that is. Please pray she relies on the Lord and can resist temptation. Pray the house sells quickly so that temptation isn’t right next door. Thank you so much!

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
