Dear God, I pray for financial stability and I pray I will be able to figure a way to keep the baby I'm carrying. I'm almost 4 months and my boyfriend doesn't want the baby. I am upset and confused because he wants me to have an abortion. I am very scared and don't want to. I have nowhere to live and have been trying to find shelter but they are all full. Please God help me find a way through this difficult time and give me courage to leave my boyfriend.

March Prayer Requests for Living by Design Ministries

Annual Board of Directors Meeting: Pray for our leadership team as they prepare for our annual meeting. Ask the Lord to give us unity, clear direction, and peace as we make decisions that will impact the ministry in 2020.

Article Selection for the Living by Design Blog: Praise the Lord! We received 44 guest blog submissions during the month of February. Please pray for our team as we review all the submissions and decide what articles to publish on the Living by Design blog in the upcoming months. We also ask for clarity, wisdom, and insight as we begin the editing process on the selected articles.

Bible Study Participants: We currently have 2,718 people participating in our free online Bible studies. Please pray that the Lord would draw each participant near to His heart as He speaks to them through His Word. Pray that they would receive all the study e-mails, consistently engage in the process of personal Bible study, and experience the freedom and victory that can only be found in Christ.

Upcoming Projects: Pray for our pastoral council as they complete their theological reviews of the full DWELL360 study. Pray for Sarah Koontz and Sandra Bretschneider as they work on updating our Psalm 119 study (including a new Going Deeper Guide and an Audio Version of the study). Pray also for or team as we as work to finalize our 2019 Annual Ministry Report and plan our 2020 Mug on a Mission fundraiser.

I am kindly requesting for prayers regarding my workplace. I feel that I am surrounded by bad energy and this is affecting me personally and in my line of work. I get affected by this and I am therefore pleading with the community to pray that I don't carry this burden with me.

Pray for God’s will in my employment, I have a charge in my background, marijuana, and it from 1998. It’s preventing me from advancing in my career. I know God can break chains. I’ve changed my life, but I’m still chained to the past.

Thank you! Eli

My husband and I are newly married, and raising funds to return to the mission field (now as a married couple) serving in a sensitive country. This season of traveling so much and constant meetings with people has been rich, but also difficult. Trying to establish a rhythm of life together as well as invest enough time in our marriage to build the strong foundation necessary has been challenging. I am used to doing this process single as I did for almost 6 years, but juggling all of this along with being a new wife has been hard. I want us to be spiritually strengthened and on the same page (especially as we step into the darkness that is in the nation we serve in). I want to be a godly wife and helper to my husband. I want us to be spiritually prepared and strong so that when the enemy attacks our marriage (as he does to so many missionary couples) we will be able to "stand against the devil's schemes." Please pray that my husband and I will learn how to invest in our marriage in the midst of ministry demands. Pray that we will have a strong foundation and be in unity. Pray that the Lord will prepare us for the days and months ahead as we return to the mission field in the next 6 months.

Please pray for me. My life since childhood have been stressful and painful as I have battled depression. I have been asking God to change our home and help my family to believe in God and have faith. Now that I am away from home, my life is busy and difficult as I look for work and try to connect with others. I love my profession as a plumber so much and the Bible says in Joshua that we do what we are passionate about. Please pray for my profession, my future, and our home. I believe the Lord knows all that is troubling me and I pray that He let's His will be done as I struggle to live for Him.

Please pray for me that I would be healed from the flu virus and persistent cough. I desire to experience God and move forward consistently in my relationship with Him. I hope for miracles and ask for financial favor.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
