Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Beth

Please pray that God would surround each of us with people who will lead us with strength, encouragement, and inspiration and that we would not isolate ourselves but be transparent and lean on each other.

Michelle

Please continue to pray for my son who struggles with identity. Pray that the lies he believes about himself would be exposed to him; that the light of God's truth would shine brightly on him; and that he would find God. Please also pray for our family to find a way to still BE a family and for our relationship with our son to be healed.

I am in a very dark place; my depression and anxiety have taken control. I need a financial breakthrough. I live in constant pain. I feel disconnected from God; I love Him, but I can't feel or hear Him. Please pray for me.

I need clear direction in my life, a clean heart, and courage both to step out in faith and to forgive people who have hurt and used me. I have a great desire to help people but feel inadequate to be used by God. I also ask for your prayers as I try to stop drinking.

Please join me in praising and thanking the Lord for how he cares for every detail in our lives.

Please pray for my two sweet friends, both of whom have recently learned that the children they were expecting have died in the womb. Pray for their husbands, their families, and their walks with God.

Please pray that I can continue to share the love of Christ with those around me. I pray for wisdom, truth, and a heart to serve all those who come into my life.

I love Jesus with my heart, soul, mind, and strength, but I still suffer from depression which leaves me tired and unable to joyfully engage with my husband and two toddlers. My other family members are not supportive of my efforts to treat my depression through therapy and medication. Please pray that God will deliver me from this depression and that, even if He doesn't, His Name will be glorified forever.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
