Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Pray for Morgan and Lija in Brighton. For openness, forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation in their lives and relationship. For Morgan in his career in music, and in his struggle for keeping the roof over their head. And for Lija to be healed from her Hashimoto disease.

Please help me on this new journey to find God. I am struggling internally and need all the prayers to help me see the beautiful life I am missing out on due to my negative feelings and emotions. I know I will find my way, for my daughters and my partner and myself.

Please lift up my daughter Megan in prayer, asking for God’s healing fire to heal her from alcohol addiction and codependency issues stemming from hurt and trauma. “But only say the word, and my she will be healed !” Luke 7:7 “Be not afraid, only believe and I will heal your daughter.” Luke 8:50, Mark 5:36

In Jesus’ name!

The healing prayer group at my church really wants to take up my time, and I am busy volunteering. Please pray that they understand that it's not them or me, it's Lent, and other people need their attention more than I do.

On February 1st of this year, my 39 year-old bipolar son attempted suicide by stepping in front of a semi-truck. By the grace of God he has survived but sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Physically his body is healing well - he sustained multiple broken bones, especially in face, including a skull fracture. However, he is confused and disoriented. I'm told this is very normal with TBI's and no one knows how long this could go on.

I've been praying that God would heal his as He sees fit and that His will would be done and to have the strength to cope with whatever happens (the hardest prayer I've ever prayed). He will be released from the hospital soon into our care (my husband and I). We are pretty overwhelmed and don't know what to expect, especially as we don't have the financial means to provide long-term care for him.

Thank you for your prayers. Blessings.

My daughter-in-law filed for divorce and moved several states away to live with her parents (taking their 3 young children with her). My son is devastated as he now has an 18-hour drive to see his kids. His hurt is so deep, and her angst is so strong—only Jesus can bring reconciliation. First, they need total reconciliation with Him. Second, they need grace and reconciliation with each other. Thirdly, I am praying for Godly friends to come into their circles and walk alongside them to be Jesus to them. Lastly, I need wisdom, discernment, and love as I interact with both of them.

Please pray that I get assistance at the university that I applied to. Pray for my funding to work out so I can attend on time with everyone else; I'd be grateful. Thank you.

Please pray that God would very soon provide me and my sister with godly husbands. We are 35 and distraught over not having families of our own. The grief and uncertainty feel overwhelming. We're very involved at church and with different missions/ministry groups, yet we never meet anyone. A year and a half ago, we each felt God tell us to pray boldly for what we wanted; we did (and continue to do so), yet there are no visible signs God is answering this prayer. Please pray that God would make His will known right away as we are heartsick over still being single. Thank you!

Judy

I need prayer for my cousin. She is in the end stages of COPD. At her last treatment, the Dr. said she needs to go on Hospice. Her body will not stand another treatment. So prayer is the only way now and by God's grace of healing or taking her home. Pray that whatever is God's will, her family will see and trust God's grace for my cousin. Pray for peace and trust and faith for her and her kids at this time. As Christ is the bridge to his Father for us may we be the bridge to Christ for her. Praying that God will bless you and your families for being the prayer warriors need in these times.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
