Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Please pray for financial breakthrough for my family as well as stability in my marriage. My husband has failed to find a stable income to provide for us, and even though I work, it's not enough. This has led to lots of fights and tension.

I am having a hard time during my pregnancy. I am all alone since my partner left me, and I am having trouble at work as well. I need prayer to stay strong and positive for my unborn baby; for good health for my baby; and for a heart of forgiveness.

I humbly ask for prayers for my dear husband. He is disabled from combat injuries suffered during his deployment back in 2005. He lives daily in excruciating pain. He's already had one back surgery and one hip surgery, with another hip surgery to go. He will find out in a couple of weeks whether he will have to undergo another back surgery. Please pray that he will be able to have the surgery and that it helps him. He never complains about it, but I'm so sad for him and wish there was something I could do to help him. Thank you.

I humbly ask for prayer for my young adult son who suffers from mental and spiritual confusion. He is an angry, bitter and hostile individual. I have been in his corner and sacrificed my peace of mind, many many times to "save" him and help him help himself. I've failed miserably. I'm tired. I'm sad. I'm not even sure my prayers can reach God and His angels because my heart is so heavy and bitter.

My daughter Leslie was in Athens, Greece, on a mission trip when she suffered a loss of strength on her left side. She has improved and is returning home on Sunday, December 8.

Please pray that she and her family return safely and that she is able to get assistance with her mobility while doctors determine the cause of the inflammation. Please also pray for continued strength for her husband Israel and her children Eve, Moriah, Nate, and Banner

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
