Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Welcome to the Living by Design Ministries prayer community. Our ministry team is taking a summer sabbatical through August 16, and we are NOT receiving new prayer requests at this time. However, we invite our prayer warriors to continue lifting up ministry prayer requests during this season of rest and refreshment. And we encourage you to continue praying for members of our community and the personal needs they have expressed in the past.

I prayed for this

Prayed for 23 times.

I am not well have neurological and immune issues and have for almost 10 years. 7 months ago I was at a park trying to do a Bible study and somehow contracted 3-4 parasites on my skin that bite me 24/7 and have infested my body especially areas with hair, my clothes, my car my home. At first, the doctors thought I was crazy until my doctor finally caught glimpses of the damage and bugs. Unfortunately, everything we have tried has not worked. It has cost me thousands of dollars I don't have. I'm already on disability and have a limited income. I don't have the money for all the products to try to stop the biting and infections they cause. I can't explain the horror and torment that this is causing. I can't be part of a church, a Bible study, I can't even be with my family because it can spread to other people. I have gone online and am part of multiple groups for help, ideas. Nothing has worked for long. I am so very depressed, unbelievably stressed physically, mentally, financially and even spiritually. I cry out to the Lord but it seems like my walk is more and more distant. Would you please pray that I can see and feel the Lord in this, for direction, a miracle, and for people to come alongside me? I'm ostracized and so very isolated, alone, and scared. TY for your prayers!

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
