Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Welcome to the Living by Design Ministries prayer community. Our ministry team is taking a summer sabbatical through August 16, and we are NOT receiving new prayer requests at this time. However, we invite our prayer warriors to continue lifting up ministry prayer requests during this season of rest and refreshment. And we encourage you to continue praying for members of our community and the personal needs they have expressed in the past.

I prayed for this

June Prayer Requests for Living by Design Ministries

Spring Fundraiser Praise Report: Words cannot express how thankful we are for your willingness to partner with us financially in our mission to deliver free Bible studies to inboxes worldwide. Because of your support, we were able to add 34 donors to our discipleship team and reach our $500 a month goal!!! We also received nearly $3,000 in donations and $1,200+ in grant money. To God be the glory!

Pray for Our Community: We have experienced unprecedented growth in our free Bible study community over the past eighteen months. As our ministry reach grows, so do the financial, physical, and emotional needs within our community. Please pray that God would continue to use our ministry to encourage and equip the Church to think and act biblically during these challenging times. Ask God for divine provision, guidance, and peace for every member of our community.

Pray for Guest Blog Submissions: We will be inviting guest writers to submit articles for consideration from June 1-15. We will then be reading through the articles and prayerfully considering which ones to publish on the Living by Design blog. Please ask God to help our team spread the word about this opportunity and lead the right people to write and submit articles. God is the only One who intimately knows our readers' needs, and we are asking Him to guide and direct this process.

Pray for Summer Rest: Every summer, we take a six-week break from social media, SOULfood Saturday e-mails, and blog posts. This allows our staff and volunteers to step back and recoup after a busy season of fundraising and releasing new resources. During the downtime, Sarah Koontz will be continuing work on our fall Bible study. Pray for clarity, direction, wisdom, and endurance as she seeks to write a 7-week study on the Parables of Jesus Christ.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
