Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Welcome to the Living by Design Ministries prayer community. Our ministry team is taking a summer sabbatical through August 16, and we are NOT receiving new prayer requests at this time. However, we invite our prayer warriors to continue lifting up ministry prayer requests during this season of rest and refreshment. And we encourage you to continue praying for members of our community and the personal needs they have expressed in the past.

I prayed for this

Prayed for 33 times.

Barbara

I have eye diseases that threaten blindness (glaucoma, cataracts, etc.). Doctors have done what they can, but with limited success. Please pray for God's healing and for the restoration of the partial eyesight I have already lost.

Please also pray for our children. Daughter Rochelle has mental illness along with post-traumatic stress from a childhood event. She has trouble holding a job and just functioning in everyday life. Son Shannon has health problems tough to deal with. He also seems lost, confused, and without purpose in life. Both have become angry and bitter and blames God and the world. They need physical, emotional, spiritual healing and restoration to the Lord. Also, as parents, we are deep in debt, trying to help them and keep them. Please pray for God's help and for His financial anointing. Thank you.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
