Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

We are so glad you stopped by and hope you use the form below to share your prayer requests with us. We love praying for you and invite you to pay it forward by praying for at least two other requests on our prayer wall before you leave. Be sure to click on the “I prayed for this” button so that we can let the requester know that they have been prayed for.

January Prayer Requests for Living by Design Ministries

DWELL360 Launch & Participants: Our DWELL360 study has released and is now available on-demand through our website. Please pray for our Launch Team as we will be actively promoting this new study on the Living by Design Blog and social media throughout the month of January. Pray also for every person who chooses to participate in this year-long study of the foundational truths of Scripture. Specifically, we ask you to pray the following Scriptures over our study participants: Colossians 1:19-20 & 3:16, Romans 8:1-2, Titus 2:11-12.

PRAISE: Year-End Giving: When God gave us a vision for this free Bible study ministry, He clearly directed us toward a community-supported ministry model. Without your prayers, your shares, and your donations—our ministry model doesn’t work. We are happy to share that we more than doubled our fundraising goals for November and December. Thank you to everyone who gave generously, we truly do not have words to express our gratitude. Praise the Lord for his abundant provision and the ability to continue doing this important work for another year.

New Year Vision & Goals: Our team is excited to embrace a new rhythm and fresh new ministry goals as we begin 2020. Please pray for wisdom as we seek to honor God in all that we do, pray for endurance as we have much kingdom work to complete, and pray for health/vitality as we will need an abundance of strength to accomplish all we wish to accomplish this year. Specifically, pray for Sarah Koontz as she continues to write and develop the DWELL360 study. She has been sick with a flu bug the past few weeks, and we are asking the Lord for a speedy and full recovery. Pray also that her family remains healthy. Thank you!

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
