Welcome to the Living by Design Ministries prayer community. My husband lost his job yesterday. He had 2.5 years looking for work and only 3 months was he in this job. Unfortunately, the way he was let go was unjust. I pray for him, his heart, and his struggle to find his path for new work for his hands to do and for a clear path forward. I also pray that justice would be done in this situation and that the board would know the truth rather than be swayed by the false accusations of the evil people who were working for him. Please, Lord, give him hope, meet him where he is, and lead him forward, he is very discouraged. Amen.

Please pray Jesus Christ would carry out the following for Jung-won, Ui-seop, Ha-young, Ye-young, Eun-tae, In-sook: 1. Give all of us the kingdom of God and God's righteousness that has been promised. 2. Let the Son of God fulfill the Father God's will to us to the end, and let us see this and appreciate it when all our bodies are alive. 3. Do not allow us to do what we want or seek, but do for us what the Son of God wants to do, and only let it go well. 4. Lord Jesus, please send forth plenty of workers for the harvest that you talked about (Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭39‬) so that your intended harvest be accomplished among us.

Pray that my sons both get saved and walk in their callings. Ask God to deliver them from drugs, addictions, and to protect them from evil influences. I also ask for prayer for my friend's two year old daughter who the doctors say is going blind and for my grandsons and their mothers. Pray for me to stay focused and keep the faith, in Jesus' name.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
