Bible literacy is declining at a rapid rate in our culture and Living by Design Ministries exists to stem the tide. By providing free online resources to help Christians better engage with the biblical text, we are tackling the problem head-on.

Our primary function is to build a bridge between professing Christians and the Bible. We exist to help believers of all ages open their Bibles, understand what they are reading, and apply the freeing truths to their lives.

We are a low-risk Bible study solution for the average Christian. Our exegetical (Bible-centered) studies are free and easy to complete. They can be completed entirely on a mobile device in less than 10-minutes per day and are easy to share with friends and family.

We help Christians grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word, while also equipping them to share their faith with family and friends—a unique ministry approach we like to call evangelical discipleship.

The Living by Design Blog averages 33,000 page views per month and our SOULfood Saturday e-mails reach 15,000+ readers each week. We have delivered more than 60,000 free Bible studies to inboxes around the world.

Option 1: Donate a Custom Item Inspired by the Study

If you love making one-of-a-kind items, our team would love to work with you to create something inspired by the beautiful truths of our study. This item could be offered as a free digital gift, or a physical item to be given away during the pre-registration period for the study. As these types of partnerships take more time and energy from all parties, we only have a few spaces open for each study. We can send a preview of the full study by request, just send us an e-mail at info @ livingbydesign.org.

Please apply early and be as detailed as possible in your application. Be sure to offer examples of past work for our team to review. Custom items must be finalized and photographed by April 11, 2021. Be sure you have room in your schedule to accommodate this tight timeline before applying. Option 2: Donate a Pre-Made Item that Fits the Study Theme

If you already have a physical item in your shop that would fit our current study theme, we’d love to offer it as a giveaway. Depending on the value of the item and how closely it matches our theme, we will either give it away on our Instagram account or include it in a giveaway bundle on our blog. If your item is digital, we may be able to include it as a free digital gift with the study.

Option 3: Donate an Item that has General Appeal for Christian Women

We also accept donations of items that have a general appeal to our audience. These types of items include (but are not limited to): coffee mugs, t-shirts, jewelry, books, wall art, gift cards, and other handmade items. We have a team of ladies who work tirelessly to help us promote and launch our free Bible studies, and we love spoiling them with fun giveaways and other incentives. We would not be able to do this without the generosity of our Creative Partners.

First and foremost, we love creating in community and sharing your talents with our readers. We find the creative partnerships help surround our Bible study launches with an atmosphere of generosity and giving.

Secondly, God has allowed our Bible study ministry to grow and thrive; we want to share that blessing with you! We know how difficult it is to build a creative business, and we want you to know that you aren’t alone.

And finally, we love giving free stuff to our readers. Without the generosity of our creative partners, we would be very limited in our ability to do that. So we feel like it’s truly a win/win opportunity for all involved.

Sometimes all it takes to bring our joy and enthusiasm back to the surface is a positive partnership with a community of people who share your passion for Jesus and love for creating beautiful things that bring Him glory.

We have a two-step process for screening and approving creative partners:

Step 1: Review the information on this page and submit your application. These applications are reviewed and approved on a first-come basis. So submit early to increase your odds of being accepted. We will contact you by e-mail once we have reviewed your application.

Step 2: If we accept your application, we will e-mail you and ask you to complete our Creative Partner Agreement. We do this to gather important information about your business and donation. We also require this step so that we have a written agreement with each of our Creative Partners before we begin to promote them on our Social Media and Blog. This protects all parties involved and guarantees that we are all on the same page and understand the expectations of the agreement.

Our team will work with you on an individual basis to help determine how many items to donate. We generally give our Creative Partners two options:

1. For Higher Value Items (Over $50): Donate a single item. Commit to sending high-quality photos of the item to our team by the deadline. Ship the donated item directly to the giveaway winner within one week of the contest ending. 
2. For Lower Value items: Donate one item for the giveaway. Mail a second “sample” to Sarah Koontz, our Bible study author, so she can promote your product in a personal and authentic way throughout the launch. We generally give away samples to our Launch Teams or in future giveaway bundles. 

If you are donating a digital item, then our team will clearly communicate how that digital item will be shared with our community (and we always include an Artist Bio with all digital downloads).

How do you promote your Creative Partners within your community?

We love sharing your work with our community and we try to be generous with our shares throughout the Bible study launch. Here are some examples of how we have shared our Creative Partners in the past:

1. We feature our Creative Partners who create free digital gifts on the landing page of our studies. See Example.
2. We encourage our readers to follow/visit the shops of our Creative Partners who donate items for giveaways.
3. If your item is included in one of our Living by Design Blog giveaways, we link to your shop in the description of the giveaway and invite people to follow a social media platform of your choice for additional entries.
4. If we choose to give away your item on Instagram, we encourage people to follow you for an additional entry. See Example. 
5. We try to establish a working friendship with our Creative Partners and continue to support their work in the future as the Lord allows.

• LivingbyDesign.org had 249,386 visitors from 194 countries. Of those visitors 62% were women.
• We delivered 13,686 free Bible studies to inboxes around the world (for a running total of 62,851 studies delivered).
• We added 7,911 new subscribers to our e-mail database.
• We reached more than 1 million people through our social media platforms.
• We released 2 NEW free online Bible studies and updated 1 existing study.
• Read our 2021 Annual Impact Report.

Our team will work with each Creative Partner individually to make certain the agreed-upon items are created and delivered to our community in a timely manner. We will also inform our partners of upcoming giveaways and promotional strategies for the study.

We work hard to make all collaborations a win/win and do what we can to promote our Creative Partners to our audience, but it is important for all our creatives to understand they are donating their talents to our ministry.

We don’t want any broken expectations when it’s all said and done, as we never truly know how much traction a study is going to get or if that will translate into sales for our partners. We all just give our best to serve the Lord, and trust Him with the results.
