Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Praying for God to move in a mighty way upon Dearin’s heart. Asking for his soul to be softened with forgiveness, compassion and love for Leland. Desiring for him to reach out, communicate and reconnect with his son. That he would help provide needed mental health care and rehab resources and support during this difficult time. Praying for restoration and reconciliation of their father-son relationship and for our family unit to be made whole.

November Prayer Requests for Living by Design Ministries

Pray for our Fall Bible Study Participants: Please pray for every soul that chooses to participate in our new 4-week Parables study, that they would sit at the feet of the ultimate Storyteller and soak up the wisdom and hope His words provide. Pray that people would embrace the message of this study and share it with their friends. Pray that every Bible study e-mail we send gets received by the people who signed up to receive it. And pray that God would work powerfully to give our readers comprehend complex spiritual truths and respond in obedience.

Pray for our Year-End Fundraising: November and December are important fundraising months for our non-profit ministry. In past years, up to 50% of our yearly income has come from the final months of the year. As many of our existing donors are facing financial uncertainty due to the extended Covid-19 crisis, we are asking God to provide for our free Bible study ministry in unexpected and glorious new ways. We are resting safe and secure in the shadow of His wings, and trusting Him to continue to sustain our ministry in these uncertain financial times.

Personal Prayer Request from Sarah Koontz: My family has been sick for the past several weeks. Please pray that God would heal our bodies and protect our hearts and minds as we seek to serve Him even in this! I have been trying to modify my work schedule and the kids' homeschool schedule to offer some measure of relief, but it's not been easy to keep up with everything that needs to be done. It seems as though our family is under attack from all sides, and we are asking for our community to join us in our spiritual fight against the enemy of our souls. Physical, financial, relational, and emotional challenges often accompany new Bible study launches, and we are asking God's people to cover us in prayer.

A friend and her husband need prayers for a chest lump found in the husband most recently after a tremendous hard fall that also cracked three ribs. He is in surgery as I type. Please pray for the expert guiding hands of the physician and speedy recovery that has aged this man 20 years in two short weeks. Thank you, prayer warriors. God Bless you.

Greetings, Prayer Warriors! I am here asking for prayers and divine healing as I was just diagnosed with lung cancer. Please pray for supernatural healing and restoration of my health, remission of all cancer, sickness, and disease, and pray for increasing faith in the Lord and his healing powers. He is a prayer-answering GOD. Pray that the doctors and nurses have insight and work with GOD's help to heal me of this disease in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you to all those who will pray for me and this situation. I appreciate you all, and may God richly bless you.

Please pray for my brother - Emmanuel - that God should intervene in His finances so that he can have savings and investments. God should give him divine promotion at his workplace, he had stayed too long in a position, and he's due for promotion. May God cause His face to shine on Emmanuel in Jesus' name, amen.

Hey Everyone, may I please ask you to pray for me. I am a pastor, and in the last 12 months, I have seen my three closest friends leave our church, cease their relationship with me, and some have even walked away from Christ. Our church is growing; we have blessings and favor as we have never seen before outpouring in our church. To most people in our church, we should be rejoicing, for we live in the most abundant year ever in salvations, provisions and miracles. Yet, my heart is so heavy, and my spirit is grieving the loss of my friends. Most of the time, I can't reconcile that once soft sensitive to the Holy Spirit, friends are blindly following the enemy straight into his destructive and seemingly apparent plans. It's so hard to watch, and I now feel so very alone. I am also asking for prayer for my parent's marriage as it is at a crossroads and needs some deep healing. I am praying for both to be humble enough to come together and get help and wisdom in their marriage. And for wisdom and grace for me to forgive and remain in a good relationship with them both despite knowing now some of the circumstances that have caused the pain that has them where they are today. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Please pray that my boyfriend's father changes his mind about a matter he's trying to solve by making the wrong decision. He is being stubborn, please pray that God will intervene and change his mind. It is the absolute worst decision and he does not want to listen at all. Thank you.

Pray for my son Derek to hear the Lord's truth and reject all lies. That he would rise above the evil lies he has believed, where he has walked away from God and truth that the Lord would stretch out his hand and draw him back. I pray that the Lord would convict Derek's heart and bring him back to where he needs to be. May the Holy Spirit be poured out on him completely neutralize the power of the emery attempting to pour out evil in his life. I know that God can do the impossible, he can do far more in Derek's life than anyone else can and I'm asking Him to do that. Thank you.

Please pray for my children and me. I am a single mother of 3. We have no food in the house and no gas in my car to even get my kids to school this week. I have prayed and prayed for God to please get us through this. My electricity will be shut off on November 2nd if I can’t come up with the money. I can’t even pay for gas in my car. I used the last bit of gas I had to take my kids trick or treating at least. I’m just a single mom praying to God a miracle can happen for us. Please just pray for us. Thank you so much!

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
