Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

I need to lose weight about 35 pounds, I take care of my 91-year mother, and I need to be more healthy. Another prayer request is I want to go to church but can not leave my mother. She is at the point that she depends on me. I do not want my mother to suffer. My prayer is that she falls asleep and wakes up in heaven. That’s my comfort and hers not to suffer but be with JESUS. God is good all the time. I am so thankful you are here for all of us to learn more.

Please pray for my young friend “C.” She just got out of the psychiatric hospital again. She has been raped numerous times. She struggles with addiction due to all the trauma in her life. She loves the Lord and knows the Bible inside out. She feels like Christ might never deliver her from her addictions and mental illness from the trauma.

I have been dealing with chronic dizziness for about a year now. This last week I had a flair up the last several days, and it’s been hard to care for my 16-month daughter, so I need the enhancements of energy and stamina to make it through each day. I ask for prayer over full-body restoration. The dizziness will subside - I specifically ask that I won’t feel dizzy and can enjoy the day with my family celebrating Jesus on Easter. Please pray that my mental and emotional state would stay level and my overthinking worried brain won’t be so triggered by frustration and stress-causing dizzy spells.

Finally, please pray that my possible rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis won’t be sparked - and the joint pain won’t be present this week. Please pray that my organs and blood would refrain from being inflamed and I can remain pain-free. I also selfishly pray that between now and the next round of bloodwork, the rheumatoid factor levels will decrease, and they won’t diagnose me with RA.

Prayers for me as I work my business (side gig) and work my job as a librarian. I feel that I need to put writing back into my life, and I honestly don't see where! Praises that I went 40 days with only 20 minutes of Netflix. Also, for healing: I had surgery almost two weeks ago, and my ear is still numb from the local anesthesia. I have an appointment on Friday with the surgeon. Thanks. I have so enjoyed the Word30 studies.

April Prayer Requests for Living by Design Ministries

Thank you for partnering with us in prayer; we feel the strength and support of our prayer community daily.

Pray for our Beatitudes Study Participants: Please pray for every soul that chooses to participate in our new 7-day Beatitudes study, that they would draw near to God and learn that the divine joy they crave is found in Christ alone. Pray that they would embrace the message of this study and share it with their friends. Pray that every Bible study e-mail we send gets received by the people who signed up to receive it. And pray that God would work powerfully to give our readers a sense of inner satisfaction and sufficiency that is not dependent on external circumstances.

Pray for the Global Church: Many pastors and churches are experiencing unprecedented ongoing challenges due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic. Pray for comfort, direction, and peace for the global church body. Ask God to protect and provide for the needs of His people and help us grow in our knowledge of His grace (2 Cor 9:8). Pray also that God will personally restore, establish, strengthen, and support the Church during this time of suffering (1 Pet 5:10). Pray that His name would be glorified in our actions and that we would be known for our humility, service, and joy amid this trial.

Pray for the Koontz Family: It takes so much energy to write and release a new study, and I'm feeling a bit depleted. I've been resting and doing all I can to refill my reservoirs, but I appreciate your prayer support during this time of recovery and rejuvenation. I am also beginning to work on our next study and need insight and wisdom as I dig deep in God's Word. My husband's job is very demanding right now, and the girls and I are eager to wrap up our homeschooling year. Pray that God would protect our family life and keep us all healthy and robust. This is the point in the year where my family grows weary of winter and longs for the fresh new life of Spring.

Answered prayer. I asked for prayer for protection from the witchcraft and perversion that I am forced to hear because of proximity to my next-door neighbor on the other side of my bedroom wall. The Lord gave me the idea to use a sound blocking machine. The sound it makes bothers them so much they quit the noise they were making. I later learned that the noise was deliberately made to harass me. Thank you all for praying for me and for their souls. The Holy Spirit gave me the answer! Praise the Lord!

Prayers for my 19-year-old son, who is being led down a path of lies. I pray that his heart would soften towards God, that his hard stony heart would be replaced with a heart open towards God. Please pray that he would turn away from the life he is chasing after and turn towards the life that God has prepared for him. Weapons that have formed - pray that they do not prosper. Please pray for supernatural interference, for messengers and laborers to come across his path and lead him the right way. Thank you.

I pray for spiritual growth. I would love to have a closer and more intimate relationship with God. I want to hear God's voice and see Him move in my life. Help me pray over my family's protection. I get a feeling every day that there are forces working to bring us down. There are attacks on my life that I cannot explain but I feel them. I would like spiritual freedom, happiness and peace of mind. Help me pray for every weapon formed against me and my family not to prosper. Help me pray for protection over my mother and my nephew.

I am requesting prayers for healing for my newborn's father so that he can be my bf/spouse, etc again ASAP, for me to be successful in being active in getting responsibilities done. Right now it is just my baby and me. So I pray all of the time to be able to provide, take care of us, for my work/career, a new homecoming soon, for the energy and motivation, good health, and everything I will need for being the best mom. To have the healthy coping skills and upbeat happy attitude that I have to keep him a happy healthy child with a full heart, for both of us to keep smart and resilient. The dad needs help with being understanding, showing up, telling the truth being faithful, financially etc. We need prayers for communication, timeliness and fulfillment as a couple. Thank you. I look forward to serving the community others and my time on Earth.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
