Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

I am weak. I am despondent. I need a financial miracle. I need a job. I need God's favour with a certain matter. Please pray for me.

I’ve felt really lost lately. I recently graduated college and am struggling to find my purpose and passion in things I once loved. I know God has a purpose for me but I wish to trust and be patient in the process. I also recently got out of my first real relationship with someone. The heartbreak has been really tough and I often overthink it all. It’s become very consuming and I fight to turn my love and attention to God but sometimes it’s really difficult. I feel really lonely and not worthy. My depression gets the best of my thoughts a lot of the time too. I pray that I can continue working on my relationship with God and find love and healing in him and those around me such as this community. I extremely appreciate your prayers and you too are in mine.

My husband and I are beginning the process of divorce today. He has been in recovery for sex addiction for 5 years. An addiction that I now know spans the 35 years of our marriage. We have tried and tried to make it work, but the disconnect and relational brokenness remains. SA is a dark beast and it makes me so angry. Please pray for us.

Please pray for my marriage to be Christ centered, for my husband to prosper, for my entire family to have overflowing love for each other and those we cross paths with. Please open our eyes to see each other the way God sees us and to be able to give each other grace the way He does.

Thank you so much for your prayers.

Update on my backslidden friend who is marrying an unsaved guy. She went from struggling with her salvation to being convicted of sin and confessing it to God a couple weeks ago to now telling God she’s done fighting the sin battle and she doesn’t even care that she’s sinning. She only believes certain parts of who God is and doesn’t fully believe the Whole Bible any more. Please continue praying for her.

I always seem to have a lot of regrets about decisions and choices I have made. I’m less confident now. My mind races with my supposed wrong choices. I ask that the Lord provides my the peace of mind and the confidence to have a joyful life that only he can provide. Amen

Pray for Elmarie and her husband Benjamin please. They need to move out by the end of this month where they stay currently. They are both born again and they don't know where to stay in August month 2020. They are both unemployed and in need of a miracle.

I had my neurologist appointment today. They want me to do a MRI. I have to call and schedule so I don’t know when that will be but sometimes within the next month. The part I disliked was he is also unsure why I would be having pain on my scalp. He’s never seen or heard anything like this from someone who hasn’t been in a car accident. So more uncertainty for the next month. I’m trying not to panic but I’m overcome with being scared with emotion of having to do a MRI and waiting for answers. Please pray for negative findings when I have the MRI and that between now and the next month I can seek calmness in refuge. Thank you again for the prayers and continued support. In Christ, Allyson

My wife and I are separated 3 years, I lost my job in a bank, and have done my best to reconcile and keep the family united. My wife left me and 3 kids, does not provide, wants her freedom and space. The kids are devastated. After 30 yrs, this is strange and and painful to see my family breaking apart. Kindly pray for my family, that we may find healing, forgiveness, kindness, trust, honesty, truth, love, respect and a Godly spirit to reconcile. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen

Please pray for my relationship with my daughter. Pray for healing in my friend’s family. And pray for the mending of my relationship with Shaun, that God will soften his heart and we will be able to work things out.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
