Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

May Prayer Requests for Living by Design Ministries

Pray for our Fundraising Efforts: During our Spring Fundraiser (May 10-31, 2022), we hope to engage 40 new recurring donors and an additional $500 per month in funding ($6000 per year) to support our growing ministry. Because God has called us to serve His Kingdom purposes by cultivating this free Bible study ministry, we must actively seek out people who are willing to stand in the gap and cover the cost for our Bible study participants. Pray that the Lord would lead people to give generously and bless them abundantly for their participation in this important work

Pray for our Ministry Staff: Please pray for our whole team as we recover from a tiring Bible study launch and begin to prepare for our Spring Fundraiser. Pray for protection from attacks of the enemy, health for families and loved ones, and endurance as we run the race God has called us to. Pray for Sarah Koontz as she continues to search for Christian professionals to assist her with certain aspects of the ministry. We've made some progress in this area but definitely haven't found the right people to meet every need. We are trusting Jehovah Jireh to provide.

Pray for the Koontz Family: Continued prayers are requested for Sarah and her two daughters as they wrap up the homeschooling year and Sarah's spring seminary semester. Prayer is also requested for Sarah's husband, Ryan, as he is carrying a lot of extra responsibilities at work and hoping to fill some open positions on his team soon. This is such a busy season of life for them (raising two teenagers) and every day is filled with unexpected obstacles and unique challenges. Pray that they would have unity and wisdom as they seek to glorify God with their lives.

Dear Father, I humbly ask that you bless my family and friends with healthy and happy lives. My sister and her husband are currently looking for a house. May you guide them on their journey and bless them with children if they wish to bring new life into the world. Dear Father, I ask you for your blessings. May you look kindly at me and remove my misfortunes and obstacles so that I may have a new boss and a better, higher-paying job to help support my parents in their retirement. Last but not least, I pray that you will send me a good husband who believes in you and loves you as much as I do. Amen,

I recently requested your prayers of agreement for my daughter regarding an ultrasound she did at week three, suggesting an embryo was likely in her fallopian tubes. At week four, they stated that they saw an embryo in the womb at the right position and possibly another close to the fallopian tube. Today, in week nine, an ultrasound confirmed that she is having twins. Glory to God!! She is 38 years old and has uterine fibroids; this is her first pregnancy after ten years of marriage. I am craving your continued prayers that both embryos remain safe and secure and, that her fibroids will shrink & not grow so her babies can grow & develop safely in her womb also that her migraine will cease right now in Jesus' name and her pregnancy will be safe and trouble-free & she will carry both babies to a full term in Jesus' name Amen & Amen!!

I’m asking for prayer for my Aunt Marilyn to be accepted into the convalescent home in Independence, Oregon that is near her daughter. Social services have looked everywhere to find a place for her to move to hospice for her terminal cancer. Otherwise, the hospital will discharge her back to her abuser. Please pray for her. ️

Please pray for Josh that he will call upon the Lord Jesus Christ and turn to Him. Lord Jesus, please put two godly Christian friends in his pathway to encourage him and help him walk with you. That he continues locally in college for the next year. Lord Jesus Christ break all addictions to alcohol, sexual immorality, and drugs. Break ties with all bad relationships and draw him to a small group Bible study. Thank you so much for your prayers.

The neighbors in my building are actively trying to harm me because I’m a Christian. I’m not young anymore, and the effects are starting to show. I have no car and no way to escape for a few hours now and then. I need an outlet or an escape. I’m a prisoner in my own home. I don’t want the stress to harm me. I’m a transplant recipient and have several chronic conditions. It’s so hard in the summer when I could be out enjoying myself and getting my mind off my troubles. I appreciate your prayers and ministry. God bless.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
