Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Welcome to the Living by Design Ministries prayer community. We are so glad you stopped by and hope you use the form below to share your prayer requests with us. We love praying for you and invite you to pay it forward by praying for at least two other requests on our prayer wall before you leave. Be sure to click on the “I prayed for this” button so that we can let the requester know that they have been prayed for. If you would like to receive a weekly e-mail with community and ministry prayer requests included, please join our prayer team.

PLEASE NOTE: Our ministry team will take a Holiday Break from December 9 – January 1. We will not be posting new prayer requests during this time, nor will we be sending out our regular prayer team update e-mails. However, we invite our prayer community to continue lifting up expressed needs during the holiday season.

Dear God, please give me energy, strength, and wellness. Please give me the eyes to see and the ears to hear what I should do. Please give Joseph the desire for deliverance and also Paul. Please heal the hurt for all who have ever been involved with them. Please guide them to a rehabilitation center that will work for them. Please surround them with Christians to help and guide them on their journey. Please heal Gemma and let her know only what God would want her to do. Teach her to be fair and understanding and have real kindness in her heart. Take away the malice. Please heal Trevor. Please heal all of the family’s ailments. Please heal Sandra’s back. Thank you God. In Jesus name, Amen.

November Prayer Requests for Living by Design Ministries

Pray for Our Community: We have experienced tremendous growth in our free Bible study community in 2023. As our ministry reach grows, so do the financial, physical, and emotional needs within our community. Please pray that God will continue to use our ministry to encourage and equip the Church to think and act biblically during these challenging times. Ask God for divine provision, guidance, and peace for every community member.

Pray for our Year-End Fundraising: November and December are essential fundraising months for our non-profit ministry. In past years, up to 50% of our yearly income came from the year's final months. As many of our existing donors are struggling financially, we are asking God to provide for our free Bible study ministry in unexpected and glorious new ways. We are resting safe and secure in the shadow of His wings and trusting Him to continue to sustain our ministry in these uncertain financial times.

Pray for Guest Post Submissions: We will invite guest writers to submit articles for consideration from November 1-15. We will then read through the articles and prayerfully consider which ones to publish on the Living by Design blog in early 2023. Please ask God to help our team spread the word about this opportunity and lead the right people to write and submit articles. God is the only One who intimately knows the needs of our readers, and we are asking Him to guide and direct this process.

I am a Christian for 51 years, but I married an unbeliever. The more I have pressed in and prayed and read my Bible (which seems to be my joy in life with Jesus) my husband in angry with me and jealous of God and doesn’t want me to go to church or church functions. I need help standing in the gap for his salvation and that God would protect me from all spiritual attack in the meantime. God wants me to serve and he wants my husband saved!!!

Pray for my family. My grandma is suffering with dementia she’s toward the end of her life. Pray that she goes peacefully. Pray for my dad and brother they recently started new jobs and the company is already doing layoffs. Please pray that they will find consistent, paying positions. I'm scared about them not being able to pay rent or bills and ending up on the streets. Everything just hit all at once and it’s extremely overwhelming. the anxiety I have worrying over everyone is beginning to take its toll and I don’t know if I can keep living like this. I know I’m not alone a lot of people are struggling along with me. Thanks for taking the time out to read this and pray for me.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
