Prayer Wall

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Please pray for me, I Just got enrolled at my dream university this year and it's far from home. For 2 to 3 weeks being here I felt alone because my flatmates would leave for home every weekend and I'd remain alone, so got involved in a relationship. We got sexual and I stopped praying because I felt guilty. Now don't have any motivation to study or pray. I took the first step and broke up with the guy but I am so sad. Pray for me so I am able to pray and honour God again and shift away from temptation and be okay with being in solitude and keeping in prayer. Pray that I regain my faith, the motivation to study and just to love Jesus as much as I loved him when I was home. Thank you.

I fell short in my relationship and I feel he is somehow drifting from the relationship. I need God to heal us and restore what we had, before my shortcomings.

Please pray for my friend's son, who was burned from head to toe today. He has been flown into a burn center, and they are working to save his life. Maybe his pain is soothed, his life saved his skin, and any other damages are restored to perfect health. May his mother find strength and peace. Thank you, God.

Allyson

Please pray that my mental and emotional state would stay level and my overthinking, worry brain won’t be so triggered by frustration and stress causing elevated dizzy spells. I am feeling quite discouraged but I am working on new strategies to help cope with the dizziness. Please pray that I’d have full body restoration/healing! If you can please pray that my possible rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis won’t be sparked - and the joint pain won’t be present this week. I have hope that during my next round of bloodwork that the rheumatoid factor levels will decrease.

In his book titled Prayer, John Bunyan defines prayer as “A sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to his word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God.” God promises to hear us when we pray (1 Jn. 5:15), and even when we can’t find the right words, Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf (Rom. 8:34). Our prayers don’t have to be eloquent or elaborate, they just need to be faithful and heartfelt.
