This week’s #livefreeThursday prompt from Suzie Eller is “breaking out of my bubble.”
I recently broke out of my own bubble by agreeing to do my very first podcast interview with the beautiful Lauren Gaskill from Making Life Sweet.
It’s alway a bit scary to try new things, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my story with Lauren and her readers.
We talked about the messy work of finding joy in our limitations, and I pray you are encouraged by our conversation.
In this episode, Lauren and I talk about:
- My battle with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
- How the valleys of life can add richness and wisdom to our lives while changing our perception and finding joy in limitations.
- How a sacred retreat can help us recharge from the busyness of this world.
- How a small, simple life can be full of contentment and purpose.
Have you ever struggled to find joy in your limitations? I encourage you to stop by Lauren’s blog and listen to the podcast or subscribe through iTunes.
It’s time for us all to embrace valley living and whatever limitations we may have. We may not love it, but we can embrace it and ask God to teach us how to see the beauty in it.
